Frequently we’re asked to replace artwork that isn’t legally cleared for use and the work seems daunting. A couple days later you’re scene has new artwork in the background.

Bad lighting, bad hair day or just bad skin, we can fix it. Applying digital makeup and covering blemishes is hard work but we’ve got the experience to do it correctly. This is the kind of visual effect you’re not supposed to see so finding the right balance of subtlety is key.

Monitors, monitors, monitors!  More and more productions are realizing it’s cheaper to fill monitors in post instead of tying up production with costly playback crew and equipment.  This is the real “fix it in post” solution productions have come to rely on in recent years. From banks of monitors to hand-held devices, you’d be surprised how many of these are composited in.  We do hundreds of these kinds of shots every month.

BS&P sometimes will throw you a curveball.  In this situation the lawyers were concerned about showing a swaddled baby in a crib with bumper pillows lining the edges.  There’s danger of suffocation and the show didn’t want to condone the behavior. However the scene is shot and they don’t have time to re-do it properly.  In comes Midnight Kids with our expertise in clean up. Even with difficult camera moves and angle changes we can make these scenes legal.
